据韩国联合通讯社15日报道，《韩美自由贸易协定（FTA）》从2007年4月启动谈判，历时4年10个月，已于今年3月15日零时正式生效。根据该协定，韩美两国将分阶段废除所有商品的关税。 　　根据双方协定，除人造纤维和农产品（000061）外，在协定生效之日起立刻废除关税的商品种类中，韩国达7218个，美国达6178个；在乘用车方面，美国现行2.5%的关税将立刻废除，韩国8%的关税将降至4%，4年后完全废除。对一些废除关税时有可能产生较大影响的商品种类，双方将保持现行关税，但同时实施进出口配额制度。 　　韩国对外经济政策研究院认为，韩美FTA生效后，韩国在未来10年内可增加35万个工作岗位，并将国内生产总值（GDP）增速提高至5.7%。韩国农林水产食品部则表示，FTA生效后韩国农渔民收益减少将不可避免，政府从今年年初开始已采取补救措施，通过减税和财政支援，向农渔业产业提供54万亿韩元的扶持

Mae Trading visit my fabric company

On July 29th, 2011, Mae Trading International from Montreal, Canada met with Beta Textiles Co., Limited in the latter’s office at 6E, Fugang Mansion, No.36, Renmin Road, Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu, China.

Mae Trading International visited the knitting factory operated by Beta Textiles Co., Limited and inspected the knitting facilities.
Both parties discussed on the cooperation in development and production of new and high technology fabrics in Beta Textiles’ Zhangjiagang Factory.
Mae Trading International is a well established company which has been long involved in the textile business. Beta Textiles Co., Limited is a comprehensive company that combines knitting, sewing to provide full package services in fabrics and flatlock thermal underwear, sportswear and outdoor clothing.
